Motivation

There is a need for a proper system to motivate human resource. From the view point of management for long-run success the participation of all its team members is vital. In order to involve all the team members there is a need to motivate them to actively participate and for this purpose a sense of own ness is very necessary. Recognition is very necessary same as punishment. I would suggest the following set of rules to be set to follow a long run success:

Equal opportunity: All the team members should be provided an equal opportunity and treated with their level of performance. There should be no Gender or Ethnic discrimination.

Rewards: A proper reward system has to be in

place. It is a human nature to ask for recognition. Based on performance, there should be bonuses increase in salaries and promotions. This process can be very productive for others who are not so hard working.

  • Setting realistic Goals: All the team members have to feel that that are not put into unnecessary stress positions. Realistic goals are very important. When the employees feel that the management is aware of there capabilities and is not trying to force them, they would work hard.
  • According to a series of studies carried out by Gallup International in some companies up to 60 % of workers are not engaged at work. They feel little or no loyalty, passion or motivation on the job. They’re putting in the hours, but they’re not doing a great job and they’re certainly not happy at work. Therefore it is very important to motivate workers at work to properly engage them and hence increase productivity.
